Our software distrobution system is now online! This allows you to purchase MSDNAA software and download an iso in one online process. If you wish to generate a key (one per software title) navigate to: http://msdn07.e-academy.com/uwrf_csis/

To purchase the .iso for the software ($5 for non ACM members, $3 for ACM members): http://software.uwrf-acm.org/

ALSO: We have a programming contest coming up! Halloween is when the contest will take place! Please contact us if you would like to register for the contest! You will not be flying solo, it is in groups of 3 which we will arrange and anyone of any skill level is more than welcome to come, having problem solving skills is much more important than having coding expertise. http://cm.baylor.edu/welcome.icpc

26 Feb 09 MICS 2009

So MICS 2009 is around the corner and currently we have almost everything figured out.  We will be rooming at AmericInn for 39$ a night (heated pool, sauna, breakfast in the morning).  Most of everyone is registered, I know everyone for my team (Tony, Kahn, Chue) is registered and ready to roll.  Registration is 50$ and after March 21st 55$.  Food, from what it looks like MICS will provide lunch and dinner for us on Saturday so food shouldn’t be much of a big issue.  Entertainment not much you can see Mount Rushmore, Crazyhorse, touristy things like that.  Me personally will probably be roaming the city cuz i see the sites before.  Still haven’t set transportation yet.  as things are looking we may rent a van from enterprise and do it up that way.  Since numbers change often for that kind of thing I’m not providing cost at this current moment until closer to the conference.

It’s a 9hour drive without stops.  I’m anticipating at least 9.5-10hours on the road…  Bring something to do (crosswords, sudoku, game boy).  Kahn got recent information that if the AmericInn people don’t sell out the rom Thursday night we can check in by 10AM I think it was.  If that’s the case we’ll be leaving Thursday night..  Hug and Kiss your other good bye for the weekend and grab some grub before we leave because MOST rest stop food places aren’t open 24hours.  If you REALLY want breakfast we could probably stop for that (Perkins or McDs).
